Greenhouse growers always wish they had bought a bigger greenhouse. The size depends on what you wish to do with your greenhouse. They start at 8 X 8 feet but we suggest you choose the largest greenhouse your budget will allow and you have room for.

Q3 What sort of foundation do I need?

Whichever foundation you choose for your greenhouse the most important thing is that it is level! We found the most popular one is using a “picture frame” of treated 4×4′s  works great.

Q4 What would be the best location for my greenhouse?

The ideal position is traditionally said to be in a west to east line so the sun travels along the southerly aspect for the day. That is not always possible. Other things to consider include proximity to trees, shelter from prevailing winds and winter shadow from other buildings.
